‘Elegy’ on Academy Awards’ shortlist

Iranian short film ‘Elegy’, directed by Yousef Kargar, was nominated to the 2016 Academy Awards after winning the Jury Award for Best Foreign Short at the 3rd Summer Slam Film Festival (SSFF) 2015 in Texas, the US. ‘Iran needs $250bn in oil investments’

Iran said on Monday that it needs at least $250 billion in new investments to undo the damage that years of US-engineered sanctions have created and re-emerge as a global oil player. SWIFT awaits OK for Iran services

SWIFT announced on Monday that most Iranian banks will be able to reconnect to its financial-transactions system, a key to rekindling foreign trade, as soon as the economic sanctions against the country are lifted. Iranian artists take part in S. Korean nature art exhibition

A group of Iranian environmental artists have participated in the 2015 edition of Geumgang Nature Art Pre-Biennale in South Korea. Official: Lukoil, Total clinch Iran oil deals
